 At Dreamers Transportation, we believe transportation should never be a barrier to independence, opportunity, or safety.

Our mission is to simplify access to reliable rides while providing transparency, oversight, and peace of mind to clients, families, and Support Coordinators.

Dreamers Transportation bridges the gap between NJ DDD individuals approved for transportation services and trusted rideshare platforms like Uber and Lyft.

We are not Uber or Lyft. Riders use those platforms and their independent network of drivers directly. Our role is to simplify the financial and compliance process so transportation remains predictable and stress-free.

Once a transportation plan is approved:

• We confirm approval with you or your Support Coordinator.
• Dreamers Transportation sends an invitation through Uber or Lyft for the rider to connect their account. 
• After setup, riders book trips directly in the Uber or Lyft app.
• At checkout, Dreamers Transportation is selected as the payment method.
• From that point forward, the rider is in control — no scheduling calls, no middle steps.

There are no upfront payments required for approved rides.

Each week:

• Clients can review all completed trips.
• Trips are signed off for accuracy.
• If a ride appears incorrect or questionable, our team is available to assist.

As a client’s service plan approaches expiration:

• We proactively contact the Support Coordinator prior to expiration.
• Updated per-mile rates are provided based on prior usage.
• A newly approved plan must be submitted before the current plan expires to prevent service interruption.
• If an updated approved plan is not received by the expiration date, access to Uber or Lyft through Dreamers Transportation will pause at 11:59 P.M. on the date of expiration and resume once proper documentation is received.

Dreamers Transportation operates strictly as a payment intermediary and is not affiliated with Uber or Lyft. We manage billing, compliance oversight, reporting, and coordination — ensuring transportation remains simple, structured, and reliable.

• Ride with their network of independent drivers.
• Manage trips within the rideshare apps.
